After a nil all draw with ZPC Kariba in the Chibuku Super Cup match on Sunday, the match had to be decided on penalties.
We won 5-4 and we are through to the quarter finals of the cash rich tournament.
After the match, this is what the coach had to say while addressing media personnel in the post match interview.
“I am very happy with the result but, like I said before, it’s a process. I believe there are certain aspects of the game that I felt today we did not perform as much as we would have liked. But at the end of the day, we just give credit to the players.
They knew what was at stake, they knew what they wanted out of this game and what we wanted was obviously a positive result and as far as I am concerned we won the game and that’s more important,” said coach Lloyd Chitembwe.
We now shift our focus to the Premier soccer league where we travel to Baobab stadium on Wednesday for a date with Ngezi Platinum.
